What's on Exhibition?
The exhibition package consists of a number of documents, including the Draft Albury Local Environmental Plan 2009, Draft Albury Development Control Plan 2009, Local Environmental Plan 2000 - Draft Amendment 17 and Proposed Biodiversity Certification Report for the Albury Local Environment Plan 2009.
The documents on exhibition are detailed and extensive, with those relating to legislative requirements being very technical in nature.

Upon request Council can also provide a CD containing all exhibition material. Alternatively, hard copies of the documentation can be purchased at a cost of 10c per single-sided sheet.
The Draft Albury Local Environment Plan 2009 (Draft LEP) is the principle statutory planning document that allows Council to manage the ways in which land may be used through zoning and development standards.

Draft Albury LEP 2009 - Supporting Information
The Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 (EP&A Act) requires that a range of supporting information must be publicly exhibited with a Draft LEP.

Draft Albury Biodiversity Certification Report
The Proposed Biodiversity Certification for the Albury Local Environment Plan 2009 (Draft Albury Biodiversity Certification Report) provides an assessment on whether the Draft LEP and related provisions will lead to an overall improvement or maintenance of bio-diversity values, including threatened species and communities.

The Albury Local Environment Plan 2000 - Draft Amendment 17 is an amendment to the current LEP controls that proposes to rezone four Council-owned land parcels and reclassify three of the parcels from 'Community' to 'Operational' land, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
