Albury Planning
New planning controls have been prepared for the Albury City Local Government Area (LGA).
The new controls will replace all existing regulations, including the Albury Local Environment Plan 2000 and Hume Local Environmental Plan 2001 (for those areas subject to the boundary adjustment in 2004.)
These new planning controls and supporting documentation will be on public exhibition from 7 November 2009 until 29 January 2010.
To have your say on the draft planning controls, make a submission or contact Council during the exhibition period.
On Exhibition:
The exhibition package consists of a number of documents, including the Draft Albury Local Environmental Plan 2009, Draft Albury Development Control Plan 2009, Local Environmental Plan 2000 - Draft Amendment 17 and Proposed Biodiversity Certification Report for the Albury Local Environment Plan 2009.
Community Consultation:
A number of Community Information Sessions will be conducted during the exhibition period to help residents understand the content of exhibition material.
Public Submissions:
Anyone can make a submission in relation to the public exhibition material prior to Council making a final decision. Find out how.
